Completed between 1915 and 1940, The Woodland Cemetery in Stockholm was designed by, at the time, two young architects: Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz. The design blends vegetation and architectural elements, taking advantage of irregularities in the site to create a finely adapted landscape.
